Welcome to Chapter 4, "Sous les Tropiques". In this chapter, you will learn vocabulary related to islands, how to ask for information and describe a place, reflexive verbs and their vocabulary, how to ask for and make suggestions, how to emphasize likes and dislikes with relative pronouns, the relative pronouns "ce qui" and "ce que", how to relate a series of events, remember how to use adverbs of frequency, stem-changing verbs, the past tense of reflexive verbs using être, the passé composé of Vandertrampp verbs, and the object pronoun "y". In the cultural section, you'll learn about Martinique, a département of France located in the Caribbean (just like Hawaii is a state of the United States).
